Vivica A. Fox said there was once a time she admired presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump , but admits that those days are long gone.

The actress and former "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant told Access Hollywood on Tuesday that she credited much of her past appreciation of Trump to the business savvy he exemplified on the show as her boss. However, after witnessing the racist rhetoric and other abhorrent comments he has made throughout his campaign, Fox believes that Trump is in no way suited for the presidency.

"He doesn't want to make America great again. He wants to take America backwards, in my opinion," Fox told the show's hosts.

Fox, who appeared on season 14 of "Celebrity Apprentice," said Trump has tapped into people's fears and created division in ways she thinks are intolerable. She said Trump was a "smart," "intelligent" and "charming man" and that he was a "complete gentleman" to her on the show. But "to see him behave the way that he has behaved running for president of the United States is disappointing," she said.
