Will Smith And Jazzy Jeff Perform First New Single In Nearly 20 Years

The 90s are back in full force.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air stars Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff have reunited to perform music again, and dropped a surprise during a concert. The duo, headlining on Sunday at Blackpools Livewire Festival, gave the crowd a taste of their newest work, Get Lit.

From inside, were shining up our lights and were gonna brighten up the darkness in this world, Smith said, introducing the song.

Smith and Jeff told Rolling Stone in 2015 they were planning their first studio album together since Code Red was released in 1993, but havent released any new music since. Their last song together was 1998s Lovely Daze.

I wanted to make a song that allowed people to let their light shine, Smith told the Livewire Festival crowd, according to People magazine . We all have an inner light and sometimes this world. People can say stuff to you and tell you you cant do, and you know you can, but when they tell you that it kinda knocks you down a bit, right, so I wanted to make a record that reminded each and every one of yall to let your light shine.
