LONDON (AP) Prince Harry arrived at his father King Charles IIIs London residence on Tuesday, British media reported, a day after the monarch announced he has cancer.

The kings younger son was photographed being driven into Clarence House, near Buckingham Palace, after flying to London from Los Angeles.

The two have a troubled relationship. Harry quit royal duties in 2020 , moved to California with his wife, Meghan. Royal officials announced Monday that the 75-year-old king has been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and is receiving treatment.

The news shocked the nation. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the disease was caught early and the whole country is hoping for a speedy recovery.

Buckingham Palace announced Monday evening that the king has begun outpatient treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. It was found during his recent hospital treatment for an enlarged prostate but is a separate issue and not prostate cancer, the palace said.
