Venezuelans go to the polls on Sunday to vote for the mayors of 335 municipalities.

The ruling party is expected to sweep the board, given a boycott by most opposition parties, who say the electoral system is biased in favour of President Nicolas Maduro.

Many Venezuelans say politics takes a backseat to the struggle to make ends meet and have become disillusioned with all the parties.
