Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have said they discussed ways to revive the Black Sea Grain deal, which Moscow quit in July.
Putin said that Russia was ready to revive the grain export deal “as soon” as restrictions on its own exports were lifted.
A Russian drone attack on the Danube River port of Izmail in Ukraine’s Odesa region resulted in widespread infrastructure damage, according to the region’s governor.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he will replace Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov a year and a half into the war against Russian forces.
