- Dubois, who was stopped in the ninth round in 2023 in his first bout with Usyk, held the IBF belt that was relinquished by the Ukrainian following his victories against Fury.
- The record-breaking prize money for the rematch is reported to be $203m as the fighters sought the first unification of the heavyweight belts since 1999.
