Six refugee families stranded at a British military base in Cyprus for more than 20 years have won a legal battle to settle in the UK.

The asylum seekers had arrived in a fishing boat operated by smugglers. They have been living in disused military housing on the island in Dhekelia ever since.

Al Jazeera’s David Chater reports from Cyprus.
