GUWAHATI, Assam — As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Union government adopts tactics of repression long used in the North East, Kashmir and Central India, against peace protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in the national capital; Assam-based artist Parismita Singh’s work offers a glimpse of the normalisation of state violence against citizens.
