Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said a meeting for the sake of dialogue to find a solution to the Kashmir issue would have been a significant measure instead of attending the swearing-in ceremony.

Imran Khan said that if the next Indian government were led by the opposition Congress party, it might be too scared to seek a settlement with Pakistan over Kashmir.

Khan acted responsibly in the current tension with India and deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, according to a resolution submitted in Pakistan's National Assembly Secretariat.

By deploying the IAF, Narendra Modi has ensured that Kashmir is conclusively internationalised.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said Pakistan would consider the pilots release if it meant de-escalation of tensions with India.

The Foreign Office said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has already made it clear that Pakistan will help in the Pulwama attack investigation.
