The Guilds decision to boycott Ranaut came two days after theactors spat with a PTI journalistat a promotional event for her upcoming film'Judgementall Hai Kya'.
The Entertainment Journalists' Guild said the boycott on Kangana Ranaut would continue across all media platforms.
Ekta Kapoor, who is producing Ranauts upcoming film 'Judgementall Hai Kya', issued a statement and expressed regret over the incident.
The actress accused the reporter of running a 'smear campaign' against her and bashing her film, Manikarnika.
Makers are calling it a "one of a kind female-led action film". It is scheduled to be released in Diwali 2020.
Several film stars, including Kangana Ranaut, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Bhansali, Karan Johar and Rajnikanth, have also been invited.
However, the explanation provided by the makers of the Kangana Ranaut, Rajkummar Rao film is not very convincing
