Executive Vice President at The Bay Club Company

Annie Appel is an executive vice president at The Bay Club Company, with responsibility for marketing, brand management, corporate partnerships, and new business development. Annie joined The Bay Club Company in 2010, and during her tenure, she has led a complete rebranding of the Company, transitioning it from a leader in the fitness industry to a rising player in the hospitality realm. She has also developed the Companys in-house marketing team, doubling the staff and scaling all marketing programs and initiatives in preparation for an accelerated growth plan that took the Company from 12 clubs to more than 25 properties in an 18-month period. Annie was a thirteen-year veteran of Claremont Resort & Spa, serving as director of marketing while the resort was under ownership of KSL Resorts. And just prior to joining The Bay Club Company, she spent two years as vice president of marketing at the 2M Group, a luxury branding agency. Annie has been honored numerous times for her work, including the Forty Under 40 Award by the East Bay Business Journal. A Bay Area native, she is an enthusiastic member of the Walnut Creek community where she resides with her three active boys.
