Josh Kirby

Josh grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia as the son of a Southern Baptist pastor of a Mega Church. After college he perused a theatre career in New York and quickly realized his passion for writing through sketch comedy and stand up. He then met his writing partner, Jon Veles while singing on a cruise ship in Hawaii. They began feverishly writing below deck with their sights set on Los Angeles. When he arrived in Los Angeles, he quickly fell in with the writers at the Groundlings. That spawned a career for the two of them in the independent feature world. Josh and Jon fell in love with the collaborative medium of television writing. They love being in a room, working with actors on set, and creating complex three-dimensional characters that grow over time.
