Kim Samuel

President, Samuel Family Foundation

Kim Samuel is President of The Samuel Family Foundation, Professor of Practice at McGill University's Institute for the Study of International Development (ISID), and Policy Advisor at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI). Ms. Samuel is a pioneer in the field of social connectedness and its significance to inclusive policy and program development. She convened the second Global Symposium on Overcoming Isolation and Deepening Social Connectedness October 25-27, 2016. In addition, she designed and delivered the first academic course in this emerging field to graduating students in international studies at McGill University in 2016.
