Mamta Singhvi, MD, MPH

Mamta Singhvi received her BA History from UCLA with summa cum laude honors, was the youngest graduate in her class at UCLA Medical School, and is a graduate of the Harvard School of Public Health. She is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist and served as Chief Resident at UCLA, where she deepened her knowledge of holistic medicine, piloted wellness initiatives, and collaborated on several interdisciplinary research projects. Her community service involvement includes work on literacy, pediatric disease, domestic abuse, health disparities, and sexually transmitted illnesses. As President of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), she advocated on issues ranging from increasing national residency positions to J1 Visa waivers for medical trainees. She is politically active, having worked at multiple levels including Presidential, Congressional and Statewide campaigns. Mamta was selected to serve as ambassador for global brand Bebe, an experience she parlayed into a cervical cancer education and awareness campaign. She is a Board Member of the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA), and her goal of eradicating cervical cancer through prevention has taken her far and wide, including Haiti, Ethiopia and India. Her devotion to mentorship has landed her on High School Advisory Boards and Medical School Admissions Committees. She is a certified yoga teacher, a vegetarian foodie, and bleeds blue and gold for her UCLA Bruins.
