Matt Jordan

Associate Professor of Media Studies, Donald P. Belisario College of Communications, Penn State University

Matt Jordan teaches Media Studies at Penn State University. He is the author of Le Jazz: Jazz and French Cultural Identity (University of Illinois Press, 2010), numerous academic articles and book chapters. In addition to The Huffington Post, his work has appeared in venues like The New Republic, Quartz, Fortune, The Conversation and The Washington Post. He is co-director of the Social Thought Program, sits on the advisory board for the Center for Humanities and Information, and is an affiliated faculty with the Center for Democratic Deliberation. He is currently a North American representative to the Board of the Association for Cultural Studies.
