Michael Chanak, Jr., is an advocate and activist for Gay and Lesbian inclusion in Equal Employment Policy (1985 1992), a division diversity facilitator, and a corporate adviser on HIV issues and the gay community.

Michael Chanak retired from P&G in 2003. He has served as an advocate and activist for Gay and Lesbian inclusion in Equal Employment Policy (1985 1992), a division diversity facilitator training Pope & Associates as a Consulting Pair, and a corporate adviser on HIV issues and the gay community. He is also a published writer, journalist, publicist and broadcaster. Michael has served over three decades to Cincinnati volunteer organizations including from the Gay Cable Network, This Way Out and Cincinnati Pride. In 2014, Michael was honored by the International Court System and the local ISQCCBE with the International Jose Julio Sarria Civil Rights Award and the Lydia Grant Humanitarian Award.
