Michelle is a advocate, activist and humanitarian whose work spans the globe. Adopted at the age of three, Michelle is a passionate advocate for the rights of adopted children and children in the foster care system. Working to give a voice to the voiceless, her goal is to raise public awareness to the many challenges children too often endure in silence. Founder of the Pillowcase Project, Michelles aim is to empower local women in underdeveloped nations gain independence and self-sufficiency by establishing their own business enterprises.For the past fifteen years, Michelle has remained dedicated to delivering aid and assistance to children's homes and to the survivors of natural and man-made disasters in the United States, Haiti, Mexico, Africa, and South East Asia. Her most recent work was with unaccompanied children and displaced Syrian nationals in the Calais jungle.
