Oral Fixation (An Obsession With True Life Tales) is a live storytelling series for adults dedicated to community building and social change. Producers Nicole Stewart and Anton Schlesinger started Oral Fixation in Dallas, Texas in November 2011. Since then, they have produced dozens of shows featuring regular folks reading aloud their true, personal stories on a certain theme which is always an idiom in the English language. Audience demand has stimulated their growth from performing in a black box theatre to now a 750 seat city-run performance hall. Their stories are archived on their podcast and YouTube channels.
