He is the author of several nonfiction books, and hundreds of stories and reports from The Middle East, Western and Eastern Europe as well as Africa over the past two decades.His work has been translated into several languages, published on three continents, and awarded both Swedish and European journalism honors. He is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, Swedish Svenska Dagbladet, Newsweek and several other publications. He speaks several languages. He lectures all over the world about his work, which has led to the rewriting of national law, international police investigations into corruption and crime, and the retrieval of children lost in war and natural disasters.Nuri Kino is also the founder and global leader of A Demand For Action, which seeks to support and educate about persecuted Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac, Yazidi and other minorities in Iraq and Syria. From this position, in his home town of Sdertlje, Sweden, he has developed a global network of human rights experts and activists who serve as a deep resource on persecuted minorities in the Middle East, frequently sought out by national politicians, multinational organizations, the European Parliament and the United States Congress.
