Simon Jackman

Simon Jackman is Professor of Political Science at Stanford University; Visiting Professor, United States Studies Centre, University of Sydney (Australia). He is currently one of the Principal Investigators of the American National Election Studies, the most authoritative and longest-running survey-based study of American political behavior and public opinion. He is the author of Bayesian Analysis for the Social Sciences (Wiley, 2009) and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science and Electoral Studies. Jackman is an associate editor of Annual Reviews of Political Science and Political Analysis, and a past-president and Fellow of the Society for Political Methodology.
