This year, most of my goals are blog and travel related. I plan to focus, be patient and take my blog and brand to new levels. My first step in this process was joining blogger networking groups and getting the courage to ask questions. Then I reached out to some of my favorite female bloggers and writers for guidance.

One of the first people I contacted was Briana Hernandez, the blogger behind the plus size fashion blog Mamafierce . Briana caught my eye on Instagram with her fun and funky fashion choices and ultra inspiring body positive posts. She's big, blunt and beautiful, three of my favorite things. In this interview, she shares how she balances blogging and family life, where she'd love to vacation, her favorite ice cream and so much more.

Tell us about your blog:

Briana Hernandez: Mamafierce is a blog about plus size fashion and body positivity.

BH: I love this look because I felt like I was coming into focus at this exact moment. I just got those baby bangs and I felt like I looked like a girl I would want to be friends with. It's amazing what a small change can do and I was due for it.

Favorite Ice Cream?

BH: Cookies and Cream WITHOUT FAIL. Every time.

Is blogging your profession or a hobby?

BH: I'm trying to make it my profession. I'm a full-time freelance writer. Close enough for now!
