The singer said she "had no idea" the romantic moment was going to happen.

Adele just keeps on making LGBTQ fans’ dreams come true.

On Sunday, the Grammy-winning songstress invited Wade Nicholson-Doyle and his boyfriend, Chris, onstage at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium , as seen in the video above. Much to Adele’s surprise, the meet-and-greet turned into a proposal when Nicholson-Doyle dropped to one knee and popped the question to Chris.

“I actually had no idea that was going to happen,” Adele told the men and the crowd of roughly 77,000 fans. “That wasn’t planned!”

In an interview with the BBC , Nicholson-Doyle opened up about the undoubtedly surreal moment. “It just kind of blacked out and all I could see was Chris and Adele standing there,” he said. Although same-sex marriage is not currently legal in Australia, the couple said they will plan a commitment ceremony with their friends and family regardless. “To share the stage with her, if only for five minutes, is really incredible,” Nicholson-Doyle said. “We’re very much in her debt.”

Adele, who has been an outspoken supporter of LGBTQ rights, gave another queer fan the moment of a lifetime last month at her concert in Perth, Australia. Fans who attended the show got two Adeles for the price of one when the superstar invited local drag queen Feminem onto the stage. An Adele impersonator, Feminem was dressed in a black sequined gown in the singer-songwriter’s signature style, and crooned a few lines of “Rumor Has It.”
