Al Roker Does Not Seem To Care About Billy Bush's Suspension

:: Stirs drink ::

Al Roker had the honor of announcing Billy Bush’s suspension from the “Today Show ” on Monday following the release of recordings from his lewd 2005 conversation with Donald Trump on the set of “Access Hollywood.”

Roker took Bush’s seat beside Tamron Hall and the two confirmed Bush’s suspension from the NBC morning show.

“As you can see, Billy Bush is not joining us today — as you’re probably aware— part of that 2005 ‘Access Hollywood’ taping with Donald Trump that’s been in the news all weekend,” Roker said.

“NBC, which owns ‘Access Hollywood,’ has suspended Billy for his role in that conversation, pending further review,” Hall added. “With that said, let’s turn to last night’s debate, where that 2005 tape played a big role.”

Twitter was not surprised, considering Roker’s on-air tiff with Bush  over his nonsensical defense of Ryan Lochte following the Olympian’s made-up robbery tale in Rio de Janeiro.

NBC released a memo last week stating Bush would be reprimanded.

Let me be clear there is simply no excuse for Billy’s language and behavior on that tape,” Noah Oppenheim, the show’s executive producer, wrote to staff. “NBC has decided to suspend Billy, pending further review of this matter.”

Bush who laughed during the Trump encounter and said things like “Your girl’s hot as shit in the purple” apologized , saying he was “embarrassed and ashamed.”
