Here's Your First Look At Amber Heard As Mera, Queen Of Atlantis, In 'Justice League'

Amber Heard is ready to rule the ocean. 

IGN shared the first images of the actress suited up for her role as Mera , Queen of Atlantis and wife of Aquaman, in the upcoming “Justice League ” film, and she looks fierce. 

Her outfit is reminiscent of scales, which makes sense given her connection to the water, and save for a few added shoulder spikes and metallic accents, it’s pretty true to the comic book illustrations . The costume was designed by Michael Wilkinson. 

IGN also shared a video showing the evolution of the character’s costume sketch. 

Mera will appear alongside Jason Momoa who plays Aquaman in “Justice League,” which also stars Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck. Last week, director Zack Snyder released a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the upcoming film, complete with a look at Momoa in character. 

“Justice League” is set to hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
