I was adopted at birth so I had been been searching for family for years. I took this test for my birth fathers family to prove the man my birth mother told me was my father 20+ years ago (my brothers father) was my biological dad. After testing I matched NONE of the family members tested but matched an entirely different family close enough for a first cousin/sibling match. Of course I matched my own children and my birth moms family. She was just mistaken about my father but she has passed away so I can no longer ask her as has my father also . I only have one of his brothers that will talk to me. I am 58 yrs old and still never got to have a father but glad I know the truth. Thank you Ancestry.
