Hatha-hate your heart out, but who among us wouldn’t completely lose it if Anne Hathaway  personally serenaded you on your birthday?

That’s what happened when the Oscar-winning actress campaigned for Hillary Clinton at multiple colleges in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

Hathaway visited Temple University, Bryn Mawr College and a few other stops in in the Philadelphia region to encourage young people to vote come election day. Someone apparently informed her that it was a student in the crowd’s birthday, so out-and-proud musical theater geek Anne busted out a rendition of “Happy Birthday,” as he promptly freaked out.

Other students even those who aren’t planning on voting for the Democratic candidate captured some of Hathaway’s speeches, in which she told students “to put her in the White House and shatter the glass ceiling.”

So not misérables.
