Ariana Grande And Jessie J. To Remake 'The Boy Is Mine': Will It Live Up To The Hype?

This week Grammy Award-winning producer Rodney Darkchild Jerkins stirred up a bit of interest surrounding his upcoming 20-year anniversary in the music industry next year.

In an interview with Hits Daily Double , Jerkins revealed his plans to produce a covers album featuring the likes of Sam Smith and his rendition of Whitney Houstons Its Not Right Its Okay and pairing Ariana Grande and Jessie J. to record a new version of Brandy and Monicas classic 1998 single The Boy Is Mine.

And while Jerkins' idea to revamp the notable hit, which garnered a Grammy win in 1999 for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal , may seem like a no-brainer to some, others are quoting a portion of the tracks famous chorus, you need to give it up!
