The New 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer Totally Delivers

Gotham finally has the trailer it deserves.

The first trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice " had a rocky debut when low-quality footage leaked online, basically forcing Warner Bros. to release it . That's not the case with this latest clip.

Word that the trailer would be released at San Diego Comic-Con started circulating Friday.  And during a "Batman v Superman" panel on Saturday, whoa, the studio delivered.

Footage appears to show Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) in Metropolis at the end of "Man of Steel":

Gal Gadot joins the action as Wonder Woman:

And there's even a hint that Joker might show up. What!

(It's about time. He certainly hasn't been around for "Suicide Squad ." And also, WHAT!)

The whole thing seems like a superhero world war, and that's not even taking into account all the havoc Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg ) is going to cause with his diabolical monologues.

The trailer is intense, but Affleck brought some levity to the panel, revealing Christian Bale's expert advice  on playing Batman:

He also brought up a somewhat unflattering story about why director Zack Snyder thought he'd be the perfect fit for the Caped Crusader:

Yuk it up while you can, Bruce Wayne. "Batman v Superman" is set to hit theaters March 25, 2016, and it looks like you're going to need all the Kryptonite you can get.
