'Blurred Lines' with Disney's 'Jasmine' and 'Mulan'; Interview with Tony Winner Lea Salonga

Earlier this month, Tony Award winner and recording star Lea Salonga released her latest live album, Blurred Lines. The album was recorded at New York Citys supper club Feinsteins/54 Below a popular spot among theater performers and fans.

Salonga is considered to be one of the theaters greatest living legends and won a Tony Award for her breakout role as Kim in the original production of Miss Saigon (1991). In the three decades that have followed Salonga has put her unforgettable mark on other shows, established herself as an international recording and concert artist, and became a beloved part of Disney history as the singing voice for Jasmine (Aladdin) and Mulan.

This week, I had a chance to chat with Salonga in her dressing room at Feinsteins/54 Below, where shes currently enjoying a return engagement (the clubs longest in its five year history: 15 shows). She told me about Blurred Lines, which highlights her take on classic songs and current pop tunes, her life off-stage, her views on culture and equality, and more.
