Whitney Houston's Daughter Reportedly Rushed To Hospital

Bobbi Kristina, the teenage daughter of Whitney Houston, was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning, CBS News and TMZ independently report.

According to ABC News , Bobbi Kristina was taken from the Beverly Hilton Hotel to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. A press release provided to ABC said that she was "awake and alert."

Whitney Houston died on Saturday at the age of 48.

People is reporting that Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital on Saturday evening at approximately 11 p.m. local time.

The teen, who various media outlets report as being 18 or 19-years-old , has reportedly had her own struggles with substance abuse. Last year, pictures of the young woman, whose father is singer Bobby Brown, surfaced of her allegedly snorting cocaine . She responded on Twitter , saying in part "it's really not what it looks like."

Houston and Brown were married from 1992 to 2007. Bobbi Kristina is the couple's only child.

UPDATE: 8:28 p.m. EST:

E! Online reported on Sunday evening that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been released from the hospital. According to the Associated Press , the teen "was treated and released for stress and anxiety."

E! Online adds that Bobby Brown has canceled a Sunday evening concert and is on his way to Los Angeles to spend time with his daughter.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified Bobby Brown as a rapper. He is a singer.
