Oscar statue? Eh. A hug from Brie Larson? Priceless.

After Lady Gaga finished her performance of "Til It Happens To You," featuring a group of sexual assault survivors, Larson waited to hug every one of the brave men and women as they filed off stage.

Larson went on to win the award for Best Actress later on in the ceremony, but for all intents and purposes this was actress' highlight of the night.

It's this type of authenticity that made her performance in "Room" so devastatingly effective, and why she's one of our favorite stars of the moment.
