Casey Affleck And Summer Phoenix Split After Nearly 10 Years Of Marriage

Another celebrity couple bites the dust. 

In Touch magazine was the first to report that Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix split after nearly 10 years of marriage,

“Casey and Summer have amicably separated. They remain very close friends," a rep for the actor confirmed to The Huffington Post via email. 

The couple, who dated for six years before marrying in June 2006, have reportedly been separated for several months, but are committed to co-parenting their two sons Indiana, 11, and Atticus, 8. 

News of the separation comes the same week the 40-year-old actor's older brother Ben Affleck spoke with The New York Times about splitting from Jennifer Garner after 10 years of marriage .
