Chipotle's Halloween Boorito deal is back this year, and the proceeds from your cheap carnitas will go toward sustainable farming

On the evening of Oct. 31, guests who visit Chipotle in a costume will score a $3 burrito, taco or salad. (It's the same burrito, taco or salad you'd normally get, but for $3 instead of the normal price.)

No, the burritos aren't free, as you may have heard. No, you don't have to wrap yourself in foil like in the past. Yes, all the money -- up to $1 million of it , at least -- will go to charity.

All you have to do is dress up in costume with an "unnecessary" addition, like a ghost in high heels or a cowboy in a scuba mask. Chipotle hopes that doing so will remind you that its food is additive-free .

It will also remind you that cheap burritos taste delicious. Because they do.

Boorito night will raise money for the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation , which supports a sustainable food future by providing resources for farmers , promoting better livestock husbandry and more. Chipotle has raised more than $4 million for the foundation since switching Boorito night from a free-food event to a fundraiser a few years ago.

What a bootiful idea.
