Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Announce Pregnancy With Sweet Instagram Photo

Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who announced on Monday they are expecting their first child together. 

The 29-year-old model shared news of her pregnancy on Instagram , where she posted a photo of Legend with his hand on her stomach. 

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family,"she captioned the photo. "We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx"

Meanwhile, Legend shared the exciting news by posting the same photo that he simply captioned, "We're pregnant!"

The couple married in 2013 and have spoken openly about their desire to start a family together. In May 2014, Teigen stopped by HuffPost Live, where she revealed she hoped for a "Angelina-Brad-type brood."  Likewise, Teigen told DuJour magazine this past May , “We want a lot of kids. I would love to have three or four of my own, and then adopt a few. So basically I’ll be pregnant the rest of my life.” 

While the model has spoken openly about dreams of a big family, news of the pregnancy is particularly exciting given that she recently opened up about her fertility issues and struggle to get pregnant.
