Grinches Caught On Camera Stealing Truckload Of Christmas Trees

Burglars hit up the same store twice to take $9,000 worth of trees.

The Elf on The Shelf didn't bust these guys being naughty, but surveillance cameras sure did.

A trio was filmed stealing 190 Christmas trees , worth around $9,000, during two separate raids on a store in the north of England, according to multiple media reports.

They hit up the Khawja Brothers Mini Market in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, on Nov. 28 and Nov. 30, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Security footage released by Greater Manchester Police on Monday shows the men taking the trees, which were on sale for an average price of $47, and loading them into a van.

Detective Constable Trudy Lindsey said the vehicle had since been spotted in the locality, and its occupants were offering Christmas trees for sale to passersby , Sky News reported.

Shop co-owner Saqib Shabbier described the theft as "heartbreaking."

"We have loyal customers who buy trees from us every year and at the minute we don't know if we can get any more as we've not got the cashflow," he told the Manchester Evening News.

The suspects remain at large.
