Country Stars Offer Support For Cody Alan After Coming Out

Country music chimed in on Twitter Thursday to voice support for CMT personality Cody Alan after he publicly came out as gay.

Alan shared the news with the world through GLAAD earlier this week, telling the world that he is “happier and healthier than ever.”

Stars ranging from Carrie Underwood to Kacey Musgraves used their social media platforms to voice support for the artist and his decision to live authentically.

It’s nice to see such an outpouring of support for Alan, especially from a genre of music that has a history of making it difficult for LGBTQ people to live authentically.
