Former 'Cosby Show' Star Keshia Knight Pulliam Welcomes Baby Girl, Ella Grace

Rudy Huxtable's a mom!

It’s a girl!

“Cosby Show” actress Keshia Knight Pulliam has given birth to her first daughter, Ella Grace. The new mom made the announcement late Monday night in an Instagram post , showing off a pair of tiny feet in fuzzy white socks.

Pulliam had shared a video documenting her baby shower in November.

The actress, who most recently starred in the 2015 TV movie “Will to Love,” often documented her pregnancy on Instagram, from unboxing her new car seat  to showing her ultrasound .

Alongside the Instagram post showing her ultrasound, Pulliam wrote: “This has been the single most challenging year of my life ... Thru it all this little face has kept me going & helped me tap into strength I didn’t even know I possess. I am so eternally grateful for my little Ella.”

Pulliam had a rollercoaster of a year in 2016, getting engaged to former NFL star Ed Hartwell in January and marrying him a few weeks later. In July, she announced that the couple were expecting a baby girl . However, just a few days later, it was revealed that Hartwell filed for divorce , citing irreconcilable differences.

Hartwell had asked for a paternity test in the divorce. The former athlete told Us Weekly , “She wanted a baby really fast, and what I was trying to explain to her was that — from my beliefs, from seeing other successful people — that when you first get married, especially since we didn’t have a long courtship, that we should actually focus on each other and not just have a baby.”

Despite the turbulence, Pulliam remained positive through her pregnancy. Congratulations to mom and daughter!
