This Dancing Whale Is Going To Consume Your Whole Day

In a good way.

This bizarre cartoon whale is frowning, but we bet he’s going to make you smile.

Go here to find out what we’re talking about.  When you move the cursor, grumpy orca will follow it. And if you wave it around, the whale dances in a very delightful way. (This unfortunately doesn’t work on mobile, but please, save the link for when you’re at a desktop. It’s worth it.)

We realize the whale has been around for a few years now. But we also know that there are plenty of people out there who don’t know about it yet, and we think it’s our mission to fix that.

Those sensitive to the plight of marine mammals in captivity may be upset by this whale. Don’t be. He’s not trapped in the little box on your screen. He’s free to swim in the wide expanse of the internet, and just happens to be heading to your screen to hang out and say hello for a while.

As seen above, playing music in the background and making the whale dance to the tune is a great plan.

We recommend Sigala’s “Sweet Lovin’” or “Love Me Harder” by Ariana Grande , but any song that gets you pumped up will work. Sad songs could set the mood too. Consider playing Sia’s “Breathe Me” and sobbing while thinking about the orcas trapped at SeaWorld.
