Armed Robber Wears 'Deadpool' Mask To Hold Up Ohio Bank

An armed suspect wearing a Deadpool mask robbed a bank in South Point, Ohio, on Friday afternoon, police said.

He walked into the U.S. Bank branch at 2 p.m., his face covered in a red and black mask similar to the one Ryan Reynolds wears in the hit superhero movie, and pulled a handgun on tellers , WSAZ reports.

The unidentified man ordered them to hand over cash and then fled in a vehicle, with more than $2,000, South Point Police Department said.

No one was injured in the robbery, The Herald-Dispatch reports.

The robber was also wearing a black jacket  and is described as white, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 and weighed about 200 pounds. He was carrying a red backpack.

"The suspect is considered armed and dangerous ," South Point Police said in a Facebook post.
