Demi Lovato And Joe Jonas Are Down For A 'Camp Rock' Sequel

The idea of a “Camp Rock ” sequel has always seemed far-fetched now that the stars of the summer camp Disney movie have all grown up and moved on to more ~mature~ careers of their own. 

But now it sounds like “Camp Rock 3” might actually happen. While on the red carpet for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards , Demi Lovato revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she’s more than interested in the idea of filming a sequel. In fact, it sounds like she and her former co-star Joe Jonas have already come up with a premise for the movie’s next chapter, which will focus on the college years:

“It’d be like ‘American Pie’ meets Disney Channel… It’s going to happen,” she said.

No word on whether Lovato was prepared for the sliming she received at the show later that night.

Jonas has also expressed interest in a more R-rated “Camp Rock” sequel, according to his interview with Marie Claire  this month. “For all of us — Demi, Nick, it would be funny to do a spin on it. Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark,” he explained.
