Wannabe Disney princesses , consider this your makeshift castle.

Disney World is currently pilot-testing a set of four luxury cabanas that visitors can rent for $649 per day , equivalent to the price of more than six adult park tickets  (which, by the way, are bought separately). The tented rooms are set up in the Magic Kingdom near Tomorrowland and started welcoming guests this week.

The four cabanas accommodate up to eight people each with couches, lockers for storage and charging stations for electronics. They come loaded with drinks, snacks, personalized Mickey ears and one ice cream delivery during each rental, according to a Disney spokeswoman. Guests may also order from a menu of snacks at extra charge and are granted reserved viewing for fireworks and parades.

Are these luxury cabanas it worth it? That depends on your idea of the royal treatment and your needs for a day at a theme park. Check out these photos courtesy of BlogMickey.com :

Cabana visitors are treated to Mickey ears embroidered with their names, for no extra cost.

Private cabanas are common at water parks and hotels including Disney World’s own Magic Kingdom Resorts   but they’re a rare sight in theme parks.

It remains to be seen if the cabanas will become permanent offerings after the pilot phase, for which there is currently no end date. For now, visitors can book a cabana  via phone or concierge at Disney World Resort hotels.

We’ll start saving our pennies ASAP.
