Donald Trump Is Winning At Being The Butt Of Late-Night TV Jokes

The jokes are on President Donald Trump . Literally.

Trump is on course to become the most joked-about president on late-night television in at least the past 25 years, according to a new study.

The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University counted the number of opening monologue Trump-themed zingers delivered by Stephen Colbert , Jimmy Fallon , Jimmy Kimmel and Trevor Noah during Trump’s first 100 days in office.

It found they mocked Trump some 1,060 times. When combined with jokes about Trump’s family and administration, the figure soared to 1,530.

”Donald Trump is head and shoulders above the competition as the politician late night comedians most love to hate,” the center’s director, S. Robert Lichter, said in a statement Thursday.

According to the tally, the 100-day joke total is already higher than the number of quips made about former presidents Barack Obama (936), George W. Bush (546) and Bill Clinton (440) during each of their first 12 months in office.

Trump is also “on track to easily eclipse” the record 1,717 jokes made about Clinton in 1998 amid the Monica Lewinsky scandal and his impeachment, said the center, which has been analyzing late-night TV joke data since 1992.

Colbert, whose “Late Show” ratings have spiked during Trump’s administration, told 337 jokes about Trump. Noah  made 315, Fallon had 231, and Kimmel  did 177.
