Donald Trump Picks Up 9 Delegates In Northern Mariana Islands

Citizens of the U.S. territory cannot vote in the general election in November.

GOP front-runner Donald Trump won the Republican caucus in the Northern Mariana Islands on Tuesday.

Trump won all 9 delegates with 72.8 percent of vote, according to  Jason Osborne, the executive director of the local Republican Party .

Similar to other U.S. territories , citizens in the Northern Mariana Islands cannot vote in the general presidential in November. 

The Northern Mariana Islands are a group of 15 remote islands in the Pacific Coast. The local party said 471 people voted in Tuesday's caucus.
