Duchess Kate Wows In A Gorgeous Purple Dolce & Gabbana Dress

For us mortals, the morning after a fancy affair involves a big breakfast and sweatpants. For Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge , it involves Dolce & Gabbana.

Just hours after she set the Internet ablaze in a red bespoke Jenny Packham gown and repeat tiara, the duchess stepped out in yet another gorgeous look, accompanying Prince William for a day of royal duties during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to the United Kingdom.

Matching her pumps and clutch to her eggplant lace Dolce dress and its totally on-trend turtleneck -- and of course, that perfectly coiffed head of hair -- Duchess Kate looked radiant as usual, despite the rainy weather.

What is a little unusual for Kate, however, was opting for an Italian designer and a $2,857 price tag . Though the future queen does wear high-end clothes, she's often spotted in British designers and High Street labels .
