Elisabeth Hasselbeck Rages Against 'Crappy' NBC GOP Debate (VIDEO)

Add Elisabeth Hasselbeck to the list of detractors of Monday night's GOP debate .

The "View" co-host got very fired up on Tuesday's show about the forum, which caused a stir for the audience's mandated lack of participation. Newt Gingrich went on Fox News and criticized moderator Brian Williams for telling the crowd not to applaud, insisting he would not "allow" a similar scenario in future. Judging by Hasselbeck's reaction, she is firmly in Gingrich's corner.

"The American people deserve something better than a crappy debate," she said. "That was the worst debate I've ever seen!"

Hasselbeck partially ascribed the rules to anti-Republican bias. "Dare we not let anyone applaud for a Republican," she said sarcastically, before issuing a sort of grunt of confirmation. "I think the American people should have a right to say or express what they think peacefully." She also said she was "annoyed" that the candidates didn't get to the topic of jobs until nearly an hour into the debate. "It's horrible!" she fumed.
