Jimmy Fallon Cracks Like Harvey Korman In 'Tense' Sketch With Carol Burnett

Fallon Goes Full Harvey Korman In Sketch With Carol Burnett
|

Well, this was an adorable throwback. On Tuesday, Jimmy Fallon and guest Carol Burnett showed "clips" from their '90s soap opera, "Tensions," and Fallon went full Harvey Korman, cracking a smile almost every time Burnett glowered at him.

The bit gets an extra element of fun since, through the magic of television, Fallon and Burnett are actually running back and forth from his desk to the set, getting in and out of costume (mostly) while graphics cover the screen.

Fallon used a similar ruse to delightful effect for a sketch on "Late Night" when Will Smith was his guest.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
