'Game Of Thrones' Episode Description Seemingly Hints At Shocking Arya Twist

"No One" saw this coming.

Who Arya now?

A girl is in trouble ... or is she?

"Game of Thrones " just released the description for Season 6, Episode 8, "No One," and it might hint at a surprising twist about Arya :

While Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) weighs his options, Cersei (Lena Headey) answers a request. Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a new test.

Episode 7, "The Broken Man ," left us with a huge cliffhanger as Arya's fate is up in the air after the Waif appeared to stab her in the stomach. However, the specific wording of Sunday's episode description seems to be more evidence for what many fans are starting to suspect: It wasn't Arya who got stabbed .

We've mentioned before how Arya acts super strange and oddly carefree in the scene, despite the knowledge that a guild of face-changing assassins is surely coming after her.

(Yeah, now's the perfect time to gaze out over the water, and ... aw, ship ...)

(Should've seen that coming.)

She also doesn't have Needle in the scene, even though she retrieved the sword from its hiding place in the previous episode. And, showrunners D. B. Weiss and David Benioff did not even mention Arya in their "Inside the Episode" commentary. Arya serious, guys?

Well, the line in next week's episode description, "Arya faces a new test," has the cheeky wording fans have been looking for.

"Alright, very clever HBO..." said one Redditor .

"Faces" may suggest that Arya will be using her Faceless Men skills to take on the identity of someone else -- which she may have done already, if that, indeed, was not Arya getting stabbed at the end of Episode 7. And "new test" may hint that the incident with the Waif was also just a test.

Perhaps it was a test to see whether she could fool the Waif?

Some fans think they spotted the "real" Arya walking away from the scene before it happened. In the picture below, you can see a woman, who is donning an outfit and hairstyle similar to what Arya sports in previous episodes, walking past the youngest Stark daughter.

It's also worth noting that the stabbing incident could've been Jaqen testing the Waif. Author George R.R. Martin has said the Faceless Men "hate no one." Well, did the Waif get that memo? Because she's not doing a good job of that in Arya's case.

And, if it turns out that was actually Arya on the bridge, and that we're simply reading way, way too into the episode description here, well, don't worry. We predict Arya still has a much-anticipated role to play in the show . Plus, there's always that theory that Arya and the Waif are the same person , which is equally dope.

Unfortunately, we'll have to hang on 'til this Sunday to find out for sure, but that's just the Waif it is.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
