All men must die, and will continue to.

The fourth season of "Game of Thrones " debuted on Sunday, April 6, with record-breaking ratings, and HBO rewarded fans by promising much more Seven Kingdoms action to come. The network has officially renewed "Game of Thrones" for a fifth and sixth season.

The news comes as little surprise since showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff already signed on for two more seasons , and actors Michel Huisman and Nathalie Emmanuel were promoted to series regulars for Season 5. As HBO's most popular program, it's alsothe most pirated show on TV , so it only make sense that "Game of Thrones" will stick around for many years.

With so much death in the show it may seem like there won't be any characters left alive by the time we get to Season 6, but thankfully "Game of Thrones" has 29 series regulars this season. Valar morghulis!

"Game of Thrones" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO.
