Gregg Popovich Wishes He Had The Guts To Dye His Hair Blond

This holiday season, we are all thankful for Indiana Pacer George Hill’s decision to dye his hair bleach blond, as that choice led to this absolutely perfect head pat, brow raise and GIF from San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.

Hill colored his hair an aggressive version of Larry Bird-blond this summer , but Monday’s game marked the first time that Popovich was lucky enough to see the new coif in person . Of course, the ever-opinionated Popovich couldn’t resist making a few jabs at his former player when Hill jogged past the San Antonio bench in the third quarter.

“I like it, ” he seems to be saying, and soon we were all saying that, as Popovich painted the picture of dying his own hair blond in an interview following the contest.

“I love it," he said of Hill's hair color. "I wish I had the guts he has . That could really turn some heads."

Please, please, somebody hand Pop a bottle of hydrogen peroxide before he changes his mind. 

You know this guy -- Spurs assistant coach Ime Udoka -- was picturing the same thing.
