Red Hat And Loose Waves: Who Wore It Better?

Forget about emerald ! Red is clearly the color of the moment.

From the low-cut jumpsuits we've spotted multiple times on the red carpet to the hair color trend that's taking over Hollywood , stars can't get enough of the fiery shade. Now we are seeing red again, but this time as a standout accessory.

Hilary Duff popped by a book shop in La Verne, California on Tuesday to sign copies of her new book "True." Dressed in a black top, leather leggings and nude pumps, the 25-year-old actress topped off her ensemble with a bright red fedora. Duff's honey-blonde locks fell loosely underneath her hat and complemented her casual makeup.

Meanwhile, Swedish film star Noomi Rapace kept it cool in a similar look last night for the Vanity Fair Party during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival . She swiped on a golden eyeshadow, berry lipstick and sported wavy ringlets that reminded us of this R&B diva .

Which star pulled off the red hat and loose waves look? Check out the photos below and tell us what you think.
